The Popular Show Campaign 4 Unveils the Warriors Group

Since the launch of the fourth campaign, fresh DM Brennan Lee Mulligan has kept viewers on edge with extensive world-building, a diverse cast of personalities, and a thrilling plot featuring celestial beings, demons, and sinister influences increasing in strength within the urban setting.

Warning: Revealing details for the third episode of the new season lie ahead.

The Combat-Oriented Party Unveiled

The third episode finished on a major cliffhanger and introduced the premier party of characters who will separate from the main group to embark on their independent quest, separate from the other two tables.

The combat-focused team includes the determined fighter (portrayed by the voice actor), Thimble (Laura Bailey), the strong-willed figure (Whitney Moore), the cleric (the player), and Kattigan (Robbie Daymond).

Dividing the Cast

Considering a large ensemble, it was obvious from the beginning that keeping everyone at the same party would be unworkable.

This explains, the first four episodes of Campaign 4 serve as an Introduction, connecting the individual narratives before branching into three distinct groups: Soldiers, Strategists, and Questers.

The Nature of the Combat Party

Per Brennan Lee Mulligan, the warrior group is for players who enjoy a classically intense fight-heavy narrative style where diplomatic options are scarce.

At first glance, figures such as the hesitant healer the cleric might appear out of place, but the events of the latest installment show why these five characters are best suited for the Soldiers table.

Motivations for Departure

To begin with, the team knows exactly where to go next after a violent opening clash with the enemy group.

Casimir of Thjazi—whose demise started the campaign’s events—exploited the foes for his selfish purposes, invading the secret base, striking the rogue, and stealing all the magical artifacts to sell off.

The traitor then settled his obligations and escaped to a Halovar stronghouse in the remote area, north of Dol-Makjar, with Teor’s brother pursuing him.

Character Drivers

Additionally, each character has a personal reason to leave the city the urban setting:

  • The agile hero, as the companion and trusted friend, desires retribution.
  • The knowledgeable figure is familiar with the region and warns that it is a dangerous environment.
  • Tyranny and The healer, having resisted his family’s wishes to execute the target and instead rescued him, have nowhere else to go.
  • However, their status as key figures in the powerful family could enable the team reach locations they normally couldn’t.
  • Additionally, The fighter pledged a unbreakable promise to The savior for his salvation and will now follow him anywhere.

Fugitives

Lastly, all of them are wanted by the authorities that rule Dol-Makjar for a multiple motives, making staying in the city too risky:

  • The agile adventurer and The hero are recognized lawbreakers.
  • Tyranny and Wicander betrayed the influential house and the army of fiends they are partnered with.
  • The fighter is marked for death by House Halovar.

This means them little choice but to head to the northern region in quest for Casimir.

Future Episodes

Based on episode three’s follow-up content, we learn that the combat party won’t be around in the upcoming installment, leaving the other eight players to round up the Seekers and Schemers tables.

Viewers can look forward to learning which characters will be assigned to which table in Campaign 4’s concluding setup installment, available to watch on next week.
